Iran Attacks Israel Live Updates: Iran Confirms Firing 200 Missiles, Israel Warns Of Consequences

On Tuesday, Iran launched missile strikes on Israel, triggering alarms across the country and sending civilians scrambling for shelter. Iran stated that the attack was in retaliation for the deaths of a top Guards commander and other key leaders.

Following the missile strike, the Israeli military lifted the alert and informed citizens that it was safe to leave their shelters. The military also vowed to retaliate against Iran, stating it would respond "at a time and place of our choosing."

In response, Iran's Revolutionary Guards issued a warning of "crushing attacks" if Israel chose to retaliate.

Earlier in the day, Israel's military had warned the public of a possible widespread ballistic missile strike from Iran, advising people to take refuge in safe rooms in case of an attack.

The missile launches followed Israeli ground operations into Lebanon, marking the most significant escalation of regional conflict since the Gaza fighting erupted a year ago.
